Call-out for Beltane 2009 Organisers

Monday, January 12th, 2009

It’s time to start preparations for Beltane. First on the agenda is to find group organisers. Would you like to guide and coordinate part of Beltane? Do you have ideas about how to improve, change or keep developing one of the groups? If so then we’d love to hear from you.

We need to know that you are capable, however direct experience is not a prerequisite. Also you do NOT need to have participated in the group you wish to run before.

If you’d like to organise a group, or are thinking about it but have some questions to ask, then Secretary Fundraising Officer (new position) please Posts where existing post-holders are planning to stand for another term in Finance Officer office: contact Zeb the producer Press Quartermaster (incorporating the previous role of Health & Safety) Officer a Note that becoming a member of the committee also means becoming a Director of Beltane Fire Society (Company Limited by Guarantee) and a Trustee of Beltane Fire Society (Charity Registered in Scotland). Please email Jon Clarke (chair@beltane.org) if you would like to know more about the implications of becoming a Director / Trustee (t worry, it t difficult or scary); please note that if you have previously been disqualified from becoming a Director or Trustee of another organisation, this may prevent you from taking a committee post. Most importantly, new committee members will regularly receive cake and love from the rest of Beltane Fire Society ! isndon t: producer@beltane.org
